Kalives ApartmentsErodios Apartments facilitiesErodios Apartments building in Kalives consists of twelve well furnished cozy apartments. Materials such as wood, marble and stone were combined with earth colours to create a charming atmosphere. Beautiful gardens with lots of plants and flowers in the front and back yards complete the elegant design. The apartments have one or two separate bedrooms, each closes by a door ("apartments for 2" and "apartments for 4" respectively). Please advise the plans of two typical apartments at the figure below.
Each bedroom has two twin beds, but if you wish we can pull them together and lay them as a "double-bed" (please notify us when you reserve your accommodation!). Besides, in most of the apartments, there is a sofa bed in the living area which can accommodate an extra person if required. Baby cots are also available (for free).
In the living area there is a fully equipped kitchenette (two cooking rings, fridge, cooking utensils and water-kettle). We can also provide you with a coffee-maker and /or a toaster; you just have to ask us for one.
Each apartment has its private shower-room/toilet .
All the apartments are light-filled and have a spacious balcony. When the balcony-doors and windows are open, there is a pleasant cool breeze, even during the warm days. Of course, you can always turn on the air-conditioner and adjust the atmosphere to your own liking. The bigger apartments have two air-conditioner units, one in each bedroom. All the apartments feature hairdryer units (philips 1400 watt) and TV with the Greek channels and 3 satellite channels. We can lend you an iron when needed. Electrical socket adaptors (for UK) are also available. There is a computer at the reception which you may use to access the internet. If you have your laptop with you, you can connect through our wireless network (the charge is 1 euro / night of your stay). You can also borrow books from the library at the reception.
Linen is provided. The apartments are cleaned daily (except for Sundays). The towels are changed every two or three nights and the sheets every three or four nights. There is also a washing machine which you may use for your laundry with a small extra charge (3 to 5 euro, depending on the time of the program and kg of the clothes). Please note that pets are not allowed in the apartments. Erodios Apartments are located in a small neighbourhood of Kalives, not on a busy street. They are just a 5 minute walk away from Kalives lovely sandy beach. Kalives "centre"(i.e. main square and road) is even closer. Actually, you can find everything you may need within walking distance. There are two banks (with ATMs), post office, pharmacies, mini-markets, groceries, butcher's shops, bakery, laundry and various other shops. In Kalives you can buy souvenirs, handicrafts or traditional Cretan products, like pure olive oil, herbs, honey, wine and "raki". |
