Irene Kavalou and Artemis Sofianou, the owners, are sisters. They run the apartments with the help of their children, Joanna and Nikos, Spiros and Ioulia. Erodios apartments operate under the license of the Greek National Tourism Organization.

Erodios apartments
opened in June 2002, in a quiet neighborhood of Kalives. The complex was
given the name of a beautiful water-bird that can be found in Crete, Heron
(= "erodios" in Greek).
